MY Music Studio

MY Music Studio is owned and operated by Mark Young. Located in Franklin, 20 minutes south of Nashville, Tennessee, we are set up to handle everything from singer/songwriter projects and demos to full band recordings.

At the heart of the studio is a Macintosh Mac Pro Dual 1.25 running MOTU's Digital Performer. This software platform is designed to seamlessly integrate Midi sequencing and digital audio recording. Files can be saved and loaded into Pro-Tools format as well for integration with other systems. The Mac is equipped with 2 MOTU 2408 MKII interfaces and a MOTU 828 firewire  interface for a total of 48 simultaneous channels of digital audio. All this is controlled by a TASCAM DM-3200 digital console with full automation and recall capabilities. In addition to this we have  ADAT recording available, a wide collection of high quality preamps and microphones, the suite of Propellerhead sequencing tools (Re-Birth, Reason and Recycle) and outboard processing gear  by Lexicon, Trident, JoeMeek, Focusrite plus much more.

Our studio offers a comfortable and relaxing environment, consisting of the control room and the iso room (large enough to record drums - pictured at left). We offer professional gear and extremely reasonable rates. Within our hourly studio rates, engineering, arranging, sequencing and editing is provided free of charge. We choose to partner with each client to make sure they are getting the most out of their time and money.
